CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK
Are you confident in your editing skills but unsure of how the story is working on the page? Our editors offer constructive feedback in the form of a one- to two-page workshop letter so you can get your story back on track. Feedback contains:
-
What the Story is About - a detail of how our editors perceived the story and what we have identified as the main themes of the manuscript
-
What's Working - a list of what's working in the manuscript's current draft, so you don't eliminate the best parts during the editing process
-
What Could be Improved - includes suggestions for revision in any aspect of the manuscript, large or small, that could be improved upon
-
Questions - a list of any lingering questions our editors had while reading that were not answered in the manuscript, and/or questions for the author to consider during the revision process
*Note: Constructive Feedback does not include proofreading or line editing; it includes the workshop letter, and the manuscript is not marked up in any way.
